The Senior Class of 2025 is currently faced with a surplus of poinsettias from their recent fundraising efforts. In light of our limited storage capabilities, it is imperative that we facilitate the swift sale of these items. Interested individuals are welcome to visit PHS, where they can confer with a Senior Class Sponsor. The price per poinsettia has been reduced to $10. We are seeking to sell the remaining 110 poinsettias. The deadline for completion of sales is 4:30pm.

Ms Segura and Mrs Cordova’s English I classes dove into identifying key elements such as characters, theme, conflict and symbolism from informational texts. After completing a writing portion, supported by text evidence, students created a story cube.

MAVERICK PRIDE IS ALIVE AT PHS!
We're excited to showcase our Maverick Pride Wall! We tracked down all yearbooks we could find on campus and have them proudly displayed in our hallway. The oldest yearbook we were able to find is from 1948! It has been neat seeing student and staff stop to look at the yearbooks!
As you can see we are missing many yearbooks. If you are willing to donate or loan your yearbooks to us we would really appreciate it. All yearbooks are enclosed and protected in the display case. The yearbooks we are missing are from the following years:
1951-1959, 1964, 1966-1968, 1971, 1972, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1984-1991, 2006-2008, 2018-2023.
Go Mavs Go! 💚🤘🏻💚🤘🏻

This year for the season of giving, the PHS Law Enforcement Explorers decided to give back to their community by conducting a food drive. Each Watch (Class) had its Explorers donate enough food to create a Thanksgiving Meal for a family in need. The seven Watches contributed sufficient food to create eight meals for as many families.
“If you knew what I know about the power of giving, you would not let a single meal pass without sharing it in some way.”
